Thanksgiving Dinner

Well, it sounds like things are going good there. I is amazing that Logan is home already, I can still remember really well his farewell luncheon at the New Castle church. I was not feeling good at all, I think that was right before we played Pineview my Junior year because I was really sick that game. But here nothing much has changed. We are still teaching Jamie, Jim Skrocky, Donques, Tina, Daniel, Muril, Courtney, and Bob. They are all moving along very slowly and no baptismal dates yet. We taught Jamie the word of wisdom and she didnt really want to give up her coffee at all, but Brother Blatter was with us and he helped her understand more about it, and by the end it was our best lesson yet. The next day her coffee pot broke too. But if her little boy would quit getting sick maybe she could make it to church. For thanksgiving we ate at the Phillips. There was me and my companion, the 2 sets of sisters in the ward, the phillips daughter and son in law, and the phillips. It was good, and their son in law is a chef at the cheesecake factory and brought a whole 52 dollar cheesecake, so that was different than pie. The picture was from the Christensons, there names are Seth and Bobbi lee. They fed us more dessert (pie), and after 2 more houses after them we were pretty full on desert. The coldest it has gotten here was today I think and it was 24 degrees, and no snow. They got about 6 inches south of here in the snow belt, but we didnt get any in Kirtland. I just came from my $17 barber shop, free haircuts are really nice. Since it is the last day of the month and we are low on miles, even though I said I wasnt going back I guess we are going to go shop at ALDI, I wouldnt recommend going there. My companion really thought I was going to get a call last night to be a trainer, but neither of us did so there is a good chance I will be here in Kirtland for another transfer, but we will know for sure by next Sunday. Also remember that I will be emailing on Tuesday next week. Christmas conference is tomorrow for the whole mission so that should be fun. But things are still going good here. Our work is slowly picking up a little too. Church was really good yesterday, it was really all about service and how love is service in action, this was mainly taught by the new bishop, bishop oeser because we were combined for 5th sunday.   I really do appreciate all the support eveyone gives to me. I hope it keeps going good there and have a great week.
Love Elder Koden Hunt

(I'll post the picture as soon as I get it)
