Bittersweet Evening

This evening was bittersweet. Koden was set apart as a Full-Time Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. President Barlow gave him great advice about obeying the mission rules, obeying the laws of the land, and tolerating companions you don't like! :) He also advised him NOT to become a Cavs fan! Dax helped lighten the mood by saying that Todd has already become one! President Barlow likened missionary work to sports, basketball in particular. You practice and practice your foul shots and get to the game and miss your foul shots to lose the game. You will have days like that. But you will also have days where you make them to win the game! A few tears were shed but only because we love this kid so much! We know he is ready to go and serve! The rest of us here will take care of his mom! :)
